2010 Grammy Awards Fashion Overview
The 2010 Grammy Awards showcase the pinnacle of daring and edgy fashion looks on the red carpet. Everyone can let their hair down and let their ultra-glam dresses take center stage!

Carrie Underwood and Taylor Swift may dominate the country music charts, but their dresses were severely lacking on the red carpet. Carrie always manages to look like a Las Vegas cocktail waitress at all times. I love her music, but her style is a little too much flash and no substance.
2009 was Taylor Swift’s year! She truly deserved every award, but her sparkly midnight blue dress evoked a mermaid. Taylor is so young and fresh and she could get away with wearing absolutely any dress. I would love to see her rocking super straight hair and a one-shoulder dress.
That brings me to my worst dressed of the night: Britney Spears. I hate to do it, but Britney’s Dolce & Gabbana dress completely underwhelmed. It looked like she was riding in her car and just decided to stop by the Grammy’s.
My best dressed ladies of the night were Lea Michele and Pink.
Lea looked stunning in a black, one-shoulder Romona Keveza dress with a full skirt. Lea’s fashion sense has been right on trend throughout awards season and she is proving to be one to watch. A dress similar to this should be in every 20-somethings closet.
Pink usually takes risks on the red carpet, but she looked glamorous and elegant on the red carpet last night. Her dress was flawless! I loved the crystal detail and the dark gray ombre effect. Not only that, but her performance was my favorite one of the night.
All in all, I would say that the Grammy Awards was more entertaining than they have been in years. The performances were fantastic especially Lady Gaga, Beyonce, and Pink. There was a supreme amount of talent in the room at the Staples Center which means next years show has to top it!
